I drive a kenworth t600 tractor. Engine shut down while driving no power glided to side of road what would cause the engine to shut down in mid stride
Check coolant level or possibly a bad coolant level sensor. If either of these are at fault, it can cause the engine to shut down or run with reduced power to keep from damaging the engine. Had this problem with a 2005 Freightliner w/ Detroit engine. (bad coolant level sensor)

This is an aftertreatment code. Make sure your DEF tank is at least half full. Make sure the truck doesn't get shut off with low air pressure or the lines can't purge. Try cycling the key on and off 3 times and see if the code remains.
Make sure your DEF tank is 1/2 to FULL, you have a indicator on your fuel guage with 4 green squares, this is your DEF level. If your DEF got low, it will throw a EEC61, but you need to fill the DEF tank 1/2 full or more. After you drive awhile, after 3 key cycles that light should go off. IF THIS IS THE PROBLEM.
The Ford EEC or Electronic Engine Control is a series of ECU (or Engine Control Unit) that was designed and built by Ford Motor Company. The first system, EEC I, used processors and components developed by Toshiba in 1973. It began production in 1974, and went into mass production in 1975.
Fault Code 61 indicates a failure with the circuit controlling the Rail Motor and the side-to-side movement of the X-Y Shift Finger. Read below to learn how to test, clear and fix fault code errors for your Freightliner, Mack, Peterbilt, Kenworth, Volvo, International, and heavy-duty truck and equipment.
SPN 3364 Fail 2 is telling you that your Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) has a quality issue, or at least that is what the ACM thinks. There are test strips available to test for DEF contamination. Also your DEF pressure sensors, lines DEF nozzle should be checked.
P1516 Code: Throttle Actuator Control Module Throttle Actuator Position Performance. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P1516 stands for “Throttle Actuator Control Module Throttle Actuator Position Performance.” This code is set when there is a problem with the TAC module.
If the relay fails it will cut off power to fuel pump and ignition system, which will result in a no power, and therefore no start condition. You may find that turning the key may power on the accessories, and may even crank the engine.
The EEC relay sends power to the PCM, MAF, fuel pump relay, cooling fan relay, WOT relay, injectors, ignition system and oxygen sensors when the ignition is switched on.
Leaving the battery disconnected for a few minutes will ensure the vehicle systems will completely reset when you reconnect the battery. Secure the negative cable back to the terminal and cover it with the cap. Disconnecting the battery will clear the error codes and reset the check engine light.
You plug an OBD-II scanner tool into it and, in most cases, out pops a code that tells you what the problem is. The scanner also allows you to clear the vehicle's internal code, which is what triggered the check-engine light. Do that, and the warning light will turn off. More on that later.

Most 60 series injectors fail mechanicaly, the check engine light and 61 code is an electrical failure to the injector or a bad solenoid on the injector, but you will most likely find your problem at the terminal crimp.
The P0638 error code is a common diagnostic trouble code (DTC) that indicates a problem with the throttle actuator control range/performance (Bank 1). This issue can affect the performance of your vehicle, leading to decreased fuel efficiency, erratic idling, and even stalling.
Diagnostic codes P0841 to P0844 refer to issues within a vehicle's transmission fluid pressure sensor or switch “A” circuit. These issues can range from a lack of ability to sense transmission fluid pressure to sensors picking up very high, low, or intermittent pressure in transmission fluid.
Error code P0700 signifies that a malfunction has been detected in your vehicle's transmission controls. Most modern automobiles feature a specific control module as it relates to the vehicle's automatic transmission. This module is known as the Transmission Control Module (TCM).
The OBD-II scanner error code P0700 problem is a generic code that applies to vehicles equipped with OBD-II. It refers to the transmission control module (TCM) in the automatic transmission. The P0700 code is informational.
