Top 2024 Fantasy football picks
The Fantasy football draft bible features 2024 Fantasy football breakouts, including:
Jermaine Burton, WR, Cincinnati Bengals: Burton spent two seasons at Georgia before transferring to play his final two seasons at Alabama and he finished his collegiate career with 132 catches for 2,376 yards and 22 touchdowns. That big-play ability (18.0 yards per reception) has Bengals fans excited about his potential to fill the WR3 role for what should be a potent Cincinnati offense now that Joe Burrow is healthy and bulked up to handle more contact.
"Burton has drawn a little sleeper buzz with the potential he can fill the Tyler Boyd role in the Bengals offense as a rookie, but enough of that juice is already baked into his price that it's going to be difficult for him to reach our successful sleeper benchmark without an injury to Ja'Marr Chase or Tee Higgins," White told SportsLine. "Another potential pathway to providing big value would be if the Bengals deal Higgins as has long been speculated."
Chase Brown, RB, Cincinnati Bengals: A fifth-round pick out of Illinois in the 2023 NFL Draft, Brown rushed for 2,648 yards over his final two seasons in Champaign but was used lightly as a rookie. He'll likely begin the season at No. 2 on the Cincinnati depth chart but there is plenty of upside here given the circ*mstances.
"Zack Moss had a few excellent performances last year for the Colts filling in for Jonathan Taylor, but he averaged just 3.7 yards per carry from Week 6 on. He feels like a textbook example of a player who gets drafted because he's the presumed starter on a new team then is on waivers a few weeks into the season after a more talented option emerges," White said. "That could be Brown after he saw a bigger role only late in the year without Joe Burrow, and where he could differentiate from Moss in his ability as a receiver, which could allow him to pile up production as defense focus on stopping other parts of the passing game."Get the full Fantasy football draft guide over at SportsLine.
